Exhaust port

Î Install a filter (4) into the exhaust port 5
of the pneumatic connection module to
prevent water or dirt from entering when
the exhaust air is not discharged over a
common pipe or when the devices are
not mounted in an enclosure (see Fig. 8).
Î When the devices are mounted in an en-
closure, fit the enclosure with a filter with
the specified degree of protection.
Î Select the filter's thread size suitable for
the number of switching functions (e.g. at
least ½" for 16 switching functions).

5.3 Electrical connection

the relevant standards that apply in the coun-
try of use.
