The following button types are currently supported by the MPS microphone over IP
connection:
Page: Pressing the button (or selecting the zone via the LCD display) selects PA
zone(s) for an announcement. A single zone or a list of zones is defined in the Zones
property (Optional Settings), where each zone equates to an audio output on a VIPA
device (local or remote).
This equates to type "zone-select" in the microphone's XML configuration file. The XML
file configuration is only required if the button is to be accessed from the microphone's
LCD display.
BGM: Pressing the button routes background music to the zone or group of zones
defined in the Zones property (Optional Settings).
This equates to type "bgm" in the microphone's XML configuration file. The background
music function must be configured in the microphone's XML configuration file if the
background music source is the microphone's music input; see Section "3 MPS
Microphone Configuration" (page 11) for further details.
