Configuring the Microphone Control Parameters

4.3.1

Microphone Protocol

Menu: Configuration or Config System Router Inputs Mic/Line <I/P #nn – input name>
This parameter is not available on the DAU and ACU at the time of publication.
Possible values:
System default configuration:
Set the microphone protocol to 'Paging mic protocol'.
4.3.2
EN 54 Emergency Microphone
Menu: Configuration or Config System Router Inputs Mic/Line <I/P #nn – input name>
This parameter is not available on the DAU and ACU at the time of publication.
Possible values:
System default configuration:
This setting is used by the Router to ensure that only one emergency microphone is active at any one time
and to report a system fault in the event of a communication, memory or processor fault on the emergency
microphone.
Set the MPS to 'EN54 Emergency Mic=No'.
4.3.3

Microphone Priority

Menu: Configuration or Config System Router Inputs Mic/Line <I/P #nn – input name>
DAU/ACU Menu: Configuration or Config System Router Inputs Mic/Line <I/P #nn – input name>
Possible priority levels:
System default configuration:
The input priority is used to resolve conflicts when two or more inputs try to broadcast to the same output. In
this case the input with the highest priority will be able to broadcast to this particular output, and the others
will not. The priority also determines if the user may be overridden by other users during broadcast to an
output.
