    Lubrication Notes on lubrication 10.2.1 Beckhoff gear units from the AG2250 series are lubricated for life. The lubricant used does not have to be renewed. If you wish to change the lubricant, contact Beckhoff Service. All gear units are factory-lubricated for life with a mineral oil-based lithium soap grease or a food-grade synthetic grease made of hy- drocarbon oil and calcium special soap polyurea.
