    Lubrication Notes on lubrication 10.2.1 Beckhoff gear units from the AG2800 series are lubricated for life. The lubricant used does not have to be renewed. If you wish to change the lubricant, contact Beckhoff Service. All gear units are lubricated for life with a food-safe synthetic lubri- cating grease consisting of hydrocarbon oil and aluminum complex soap.
