Test weld

Carry out a test weld after performing the safety inspection.

Check that controls work in line with the operating instructions
The correct operation of the gas solenoid valve must be tested by activating the torch
trigger several times
To check the gas solenoid valve and the gas lines for leaks, the gas line to the gas
solenoid valve must be subjected to pressure.
Turn off the gas feed at the gas cylinder and observe the pressure gauge for any fall
in pressure over a period of 2 minutes  There must be no noticeable fall in pressure
on the gauge
