Chapter 3 ADJUST THE RADAR ECHO
3.1 CHANGE RANGE
Range
Range ring interval
Range can be set from 0.125NM to 72NM.
* The maximum range of JMA-3404 and
JMA-3406/HS is 48NM.
3.2 SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT (GAIN)
The sensitivity value is displayed at the lower
part of the screen when the GAIN control is
turned left or right.
Turning the control right increases the value,
and turning it left decreases the value.

Pressing RANGE button + or - changes the observation range.
● Press the RANGE ＋ button → Extend the range
● Press the RANGE － button → Reduce the range
It is necessary to set an appropriate gain level in order to use the radar exactly.
Failure to do so, it is possible to obtain an accurate radar echo.
