3. Fit the hose holder.
Check and adjust the belt tensioner. This
is especially important when fitting a new
belt.

Replacing the Front Belt

Dismantling
The entire belt is removed according to the
following when a snow blade is to be attached
to the machine.
1. Put the cutting unit in the service
position.
2. Pull the centre belt off of the centre
pulley. The belt becomes slack when the
cutting unit is lifted.
3. Take off the front belt from the centre
pulley and remove the belt.
Assembly
1. Position the belt from the front. Pull the
belt on the outside of the runner pulley
and on the inside of the adjuster pulley.
2. If R 422 Ts or R 422 Ts AWD is to be
used with an accessory or with the
cutting unit CombiTurf 112, the belt
should be pulled on the outside of the
outer runner wheel, otherwise the belt
will be too long.
