Lebensdauer / Gebrauchsdauer
Diese PSA darf max. 6 Jahre ab Fertigungsdatum benutzt
werden (siehe Etikett). Textile Komponenten unterliegen
einer Alterung (Versprödung). Diese Alterung kann durch
zusätzliche Einflüsse wie Witterung, Häufigkeit der Benut-
zung, Arbeitsumfeld wesentlich verkürzt sein!
Anseilschutz-Ausrüstung mindestens einmal jährlich von
einem Sachkundigen prüfen lassen und das Prüfergebnis
in der Prüfkarte eintragen.
Lagerung
• Feuchte PSA vor der Lagerung trocknen.
• Lichtgeschützt und trocken lagern.
• PSA nicht in der Nähe von Heizungen lagern. Dauerhaft
einwirkende Temperaturen von über 50 °C wirken sich
negativ auf die Festigkeit des textilen Materials aus und
verkürzen die Lebensdauer.
• PSA nicht mit aggressiven Stoffen ( Öle, Fette, Säuren,
Chemikalien, etc.) in Verbindung bringen.
• Geschützte Lagerung und Transport im Gerätekoffer oder
Gerätebeutel.
Wartung und Pflege
• Feuchte PSA luftig, nicht an künstlichen Wärmequellen
trocknen. Metallkomponenten mit Tuch trockenreiben.
• Verschmutzte textile Komponenten (Auffanggurt, Seile,
ect.) trocknen oder ggf. nass ausbürsten oder ggf. mit
lauwarmen Wasser und wenig Feinwaschmittel reinigen.
Danach ausgiebig klar spülen. Andere Reinigungsmittel
sind nicht gestattet!

• Bewegliche Teile an Karabinerhaken und anderen Geräten
ggf. mit dosiertem ölen der Gelenke gängig halten.
• Gepflegte Schutzausrüstungen halten länger!
Reparatur
• Reparaturen dürfen aus Haftungsgründen nur vom
Hersteller vorgenommen werden.
Miscellaneous
Lifespan / period of use
This PSA may be used for a max. of 6 years from the pro-
duction date (see label). Textile components are subject to
aging (brittleness). This aging process may be accelerated
by additional influences such as the weather conditions,
frequency of use, work environment etc.!
Ensure that the rope protective equipment is checked at
least once a year by an expert and enter the inspection
result into the inspection card.
Storage
• Dry the wet PSA before putting it into storage
• Store in a dry, dark place
• Do not store the PSA close to radiators or heat sources.
Permanent temperatures of above 50°C have a negative
effect on the strength of the textile material and reduce
its lifespan.
• Do not allow the PSA to come into contact with aggressi-
ve substances ( oils, greases, acids, chemicals, etc.)
• Store safely and transport in a device case or bag
Maintenance and care
• Dry the wet PSA in the air and not on artificial heat sources.
Rub metal components dry with a cloth.
• Dry soiled textile components (holding belt, ropes, etc) or,
if necessary, brush when wet or clean with lukewarm
water and a little mild detergent. Then rinse thoroughly.
Other detergents are prohibited!

• Apply dosed oils to the joints to keep moving parts on
the snap hooks and other devices smooth running.
• Do not use grease. Bearings are permanently lubricated
ball bearings. If necessary slightly oil the joints with
(resin-free) sewing machine oil.
• Protective equipment that is looked after will retain its
function for longer!
Repairs
• For liability reasons, repairs may only be performed by
the manufacturer.
