    ScanPal EDA51 computers ship with the battery significantly discharged of power. Fully charge the battery before using your computer for the first time. You can charge the battery with a ScanPal EDA51 series charging accessory before or after you install the battery in the computer. A fully discharged battery charges in approximately 4.5 hours.

    Replace the Battery Caution: Improper battery replacement or incompatible device usage may result in risk of burns, fire, explosion, or other hazard.
