The Collider Delay+Reverb's Hardware Options include the following:
Hardware Bypass Mode: Selects between True or Buffered Bypass.
MIDI Channel: Selects the pedal's MIDI channel (1 through 16).
Control Input: This dropdown menu assigns the control function of the external switch
connected to the CONTROL INPUT. There are three choices: Neuro Hub/Expression,
Increment Preset, Decrement Preset, and Engine Tap Function. Selecting the Engine Tap
Function allows you to control whichever option has been selected within the Option Tap
dropdown menu in the SOUND EDITOR. Note: Engine Tap Function is a global setting.
However, you can change the Engine Tap Function's assignment for each preset! To select
the Tap assignment, you must go to the SOUND EDITOR in each preset and select from the
list of option in the Option Tap dropdown menu.
Preset Extension Mode: Adds an additional 4 user presets for a total of 8 presets accessible
without MIDI messages.
Delay/Reverb Trails Mode: Checking this box allows your delay or reverb trail to decay
naturally upon bypassing the effect.
Kill Dry Mode: Completely eliminates the dry signal from the pedal's output. Kill Dry Mode is
helpful when using the Collider in an effects send.
Knob Action after: Allows you to select the function of the knobs after a preset is selected.
There are three different options:
Always Write – Knob positions will be recalled as exactly how they are set on the
pedal
Show Preset Value – This is the default mode. Discover where the knobs are set in
each preset by rotating them. The Control LED will flash when each knob position has
been discovered.
Write After Preset Value is Reached – Rotating the knob will initially discover its
position within the preset, but once it has been discovered, the Control LED will
blink, and the knob will begin writing a new position.
Ext. Footswitch: Plug a standard ¼" TRS, one or two button external footswitch to the
Collider's PEDAL IN jack and externally change presets or perform OPTION footswitch control
functions. These two dropdown menus select the control assignments for each button on a
two-button switch (Use the top field when only when connected to a single button switch).
There are three choices: Increment Preset, Decrement Preset, and Engine Tap Function.
Selecting the Engine Tap Function allows you to control whichever option has been selected
within the
Option Tap dropdown menu
respond to Option Press and Hold (a.k.a. "Momentary") switch actions from external
switches.
Power Up State: Selects between engaging or bypassing the effect upon the initial power up
of the pedal. You may also decide to engage one effect by default, and bypass the other.
Default I/O: Sets the default I/O signal routing mode. Descriptions of the available routing
modes are available in the
Tap Tempo Toggle Left: Select between different beat divisions to map to the left position of
the tap tempo switch.
