6.2.2.1.5.2 Startup Information
This option hides/shows the power-up text (copyright, model number, etc.) that is echoed
to the SHOUT ns device's USB serial port. The AT command associated with this setting is
^SSI.
6.2.2.1.5.3 Bluetooth Power
This option sets whether the Bluetooth transceiver is powered up when the device is turned
on. The AT command associated with this setting is ^BTPWR.
6.2.2.1.5.4 Normal Tracking Profile
This option selects the stored tracking profile to be used in Normal tracking mode. The AT
command associated with this setting is ^TPN.
6.2.2.1.5.5 Emergency Tracking Profile
This option selects the stored tracking profile to be used in Emergency tracking mode. The
AT command associated with this setting is ^TPE.
6.2.2.1.5.6 Power Up Time Refresh Frequency
When a power up delay is set, the SHOUT ns periodically wakes up from sleep to adjust
its internal clock against the GPS receiver timing signal. In the case when the GPS receiver
does not yet have a time fix, the SHOUT ns will stay awake for a specified period of time
(Allowed GPS Acquisition Time) waiting for a GPS time fix. After which, the SHOUT ns will
sleep for another period of time (Power Up Time Refresh Frequency) before retrying to find a
time fix. These values are configured through the AT command ^PUPT.
6.2.2.1.5.7 Remote Update Time Check
This enables a time check for incoming remote updates. When enabled, remote updates
with a timestamp less than or equal to the last remote update time are not applied. The
associated AT command is ^RUTC.
6.2.2.2 Tracking Profile Settings
This section covers the configuration tabs associated with the tracking profile settings.
After the Configure Window... option is selected, users can go to Profile Type on the top left
of the window and select Tracking Profile along with the Store Profile number (see Figure 16).
