6.2.2.1 General Profile Settings
This section describes the general profile settings using SatTerm. After the Configure
Window... menu item is chosen, the Configuration window will appear. To access settings for
a general profile, first select General Profile as the profile type and then use Store Profile to
select the profile number. The Configuration window organizes the general profile settings
onto five tabs – Miscellaneous, Tracking, Motion, LED, and GPS, as shown in Figure 9.
6.2.2.1.1 Tracking Tab
Tracking offers five settings as shown in Figure 9: Remote Message Format, GPS Always
ON, Start-Up Mode, Tracking Log, and Max. Queued Reports.
6.2.2.1.1.1 Remote Message Format
This option sets the format of the messages that will be sent from the SHOUT ns to the
recipient. Currently available message formats are:
NAL Type 3
NAL Type 4
NAL Type 5
PECOS P3
PECOS P4
NAL Type 6
NAL Research Corporation (451-01001.B)
Same format as on the A3LA trackers.
Includes HDOP and VDOP GPS values, and motion.
Includes I/O pin states.
Includes short codes and free text fields.
