CD-RW
A set of programs responsible for basic control of the computer. BIOS is activated
automatically when the computer is turned on, so the user may not be aware of BIOS and its
functions.
On this computer, operations are controlled by BIOS alone until Windows starts up. After
Windows starts up, BIOS and Windows work in harmony to control the computer's
operations. Setup Utility (
A CD for recording music using a music CD standard called CD-Digital Audio. Commonly
referred to as "music CDs" or "Audio CDs".
A music CD (CD-DA: see above) to which video images or still images in video format have
been added to a second session.
A CD on which data can be written only once. Data can also be added as long as the volume
is within the writing capacity of the disk. Because data can only be written once and cannot be
erased.

A "read-only" disk on which data has been recorded for computer processing. Data cannot be
written on or erased from a CD-ROM.
