Exchanging Data between Computers Using the Wireless LAN
Check the Communication Status
To communicate between two computers using the wireless LAN and without using an
access point, make the following settings on each computer.
Set the network to be accessed as [Connect to ad hoc networks only]
Set the network names to the same name
Set the network authentication to the same authentication
When using encryption, set the same encryption and the same network key on both
computers
Open the Intel PROSet using either of the following procedures:
Click [start] - [All Programs] - [Intel Network Adapters] - [Intel(R) PROSet for Wireless]
Double-click the icon or the
communication status
