Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
5.1
Troubleshooting Procedure
If a failure occurs, it is important to determine the source of failure in the T series migration
system for type1 light controller module PUM12, whether it is caused by the controlled or
the controller.
In some cases, a single failure may cause the secondary failure. Accordingly, a
comprehensive approach across the system is required for determining the cause of
failure.
If there is a possibility that failure may be caused by controller module PUM12 or I/O
module, check the following by referring to "Unified controller nv series type1 light
Controller Unit User's Manual - Basic Hardware -" (6F8C1497):
Check:
■ Power system
■ Controller module
■ Programs
■ Input signals
■ Output signals
■ External factors
• If the controller does not operate normally, take actions by checking 5.2 "Confirmation of Failure."
• If a failure occurs, contact a Toshiba branch office (store) or service agent to request return or
repair.
• Normal system operation is not guaranteed if the failed product is repaired not by Toshiba or a
designated service agent.
