■ Procedure to dismount and mount the top bracket of base unit BUM7B
A proper space should be provided when the top bracket is mounted on base unit BUM7B
with the base unit installed on the vertical plane of the control panel. If space is not provided,
there is no room for the hand to reach and press the top lock lever of the G2 I/O module for
dismount the module.
If the specified space for the top bracket is not provided when the existing T3 series base
unit is replaced with BUM7B, remove the top bracket from BUM7B, remove the modules
from the slots, and install the top bracket to BUM7B properly in the procedure described
below.
(1) Turn off the power to the T series migration system.
Turn off the external power to the I/O module.
(2) Disconnect cables from the modules.
Power supply terminal: Remove the detachable terminal block.
type1 light controller module (PUM12): Disconnect the cable.
TC-net I/O loop G2 I/O adapter module (GA922): Disconnect the cable.
I/O module: Remove the detachable terminal block, or disconnect the connector cable.
(3) Loosen four screws securing the top bracket.
While holding the top bracket by one hand, insert a 150-mm or longer Phillips
screwdriver into four holes for fixing both top bracket and G2 I/O module (S1, S4, S8
and S11) in turn by the other hand and loosen the screws securing the top bracket.
The screws securing the top bracket do not go off, but loosen by turning them to the left
several times with the screwdriver.
