• While keeping the terminal conversion cable in the BUM7B space, align the upper part
• Adjust the mounting position of the terminal block signal conversion adapter, and firmly
(5) Connect the G3 I/O terminal block to the terminal block signal conversion adapter.
Connect the removable terminal block of G3 I/O to the terminal block signal conversion
adapter by aligning the direction of PCB on the adapter for mounting G3 I/O and the G3
I/O terminal block. There is a correct combination of terminal block signal conversion
adapter and G3 I/O terminal block. An incorrect combination may cause abnormal
operation, system failure, breakage, fuming or ignition.
For details of cable and adapter combination, refer to Appendix B Terminal Block Signal
Conversion Adapter.
■ Procedure to dismount the terminal block signal conversion adapter
Be sure to turn off the power to the T series migration system before dismounting the
terminal block signal conversion adapter.
Dismount the terminal block signal conversion adapter in the reverse order of mounting.
(1) Disconnect the G3 I/O terminal block from the terminal block signal conversion adapter.
(2) Dismount the terminal block signal conversion adapter from BUM7B.
(3) Disconnect the attached terminal conversion cable from G2 I/O.
(4) Disconnect the attached terminal conversion cable from the terminal block signal
(5) Dismount the G2 I/O module from BUM7B.

upper BUM7B mounting hole of the terminal block signal conversion adapter is align
with the hole on the top bracket for securing the terminal block signal conversion
adapter, and set and temporarily tighten the mounting screw.
