The True Spring does not sync to MIDI timecode containing SMPTE timestamps.
USB
The True Spring's USB port is plug-and-play ready for Windows and Mac computers. The True Spring
uses class-compliant drivers, so no special drivers are needed. Just power up the pedal and connect it
to the computer using a USB cable. The computer should automatically recognize the True Spring,
which will be identified as "Source Audio One Series" in the operating system.
USB to Neuro Desktop Editor
Use the USB port on the top of the pedal to connect the True Spring to the Neuro Desktop Editor on
both Mac or Windows based computers. Connecting the True Spring to the Neuro Desktop Editor
allows users to create and organize highly customized presets as well as update the pedal with the
latest firmware. Go to the
updating pedal firmware.
USB-MIDI
The True Spring will appear as a MIDI device in your computer's operating system. As a result, the
pedal can communicate with audio production software that utilizes MIDI, such as Pro Tools, Ableton
Live, Logic Pro, and more. MIDI messages can be sent directly to the True Spring using the USB
connection, which allows for full automation of the pedal within host software such as a DAW. For
example, the depth or speed of the tremolo can be automated by outputting MIDI continuous
controller messages from the host software to the True Spring via the USB connection.
