External Loop "Safe" Mode (Prevents Feedback): Check this box when using the "External
Loop Pre-Effect" routing option. It will prevent your effect from feeding back when engaged.
Power Up State: Selects between powering up in the engaged or bypassed state.
Kill Dry Mode: Completely eliminates the dry signal from the pedal's output. Kill Dry Mode is
helpful when using the True Spring in an effects loop.
Default Routing: Sets the default I/O signal routing mode. Descriptions of the available
routing modes are available in the
Quick Change to Preset Mode: Changes the speed in which the True Spring alternates
between Standard and Preset Modes from 5 seconds to 800 ms.
Sound Editor
Upon clicking the wrench icon in the Connections section, the True Spring Reverb's Sound Editor
interface appears in a tab in the center field. This is where all of the sound editing work takes place.
The Sound Editor is broken into several sub-sections, each containing a unique variation of virtual
knobs and dropdown menus. The following is a brief explanation of each Sound Editor sub-section.
Spring Reverb Engine
Selects the reverb engine: Short, Long, Tank, Space Spring, Drip Machine, Spring Hall, Trash Spring,
Ventris True Spring, Ventris Outboard Spring.
I/O Routing Option
Select the routing configurations of Inputs and Outputs 1 & 2. See the
a detailed explanation of each routing option.
Basic Controls
Spring Size: Each Spring Reverb engine has a subset of virtual spring sizes, use this dropdown
menu to select your spring size.
Front Panel Controls: This set of virtual knobs mirrors the knobs on the face of the True
Spring Reverb pedal. Turning one of the physical knobs on the pedal also moves the
corresponding virtual knob in the Sound Editor. See the
descriptions of each knob's function.
