6.3

Signalling LEDs

There are six LEDs for signalling on the MAGIC ETI Decoder system.
(1)
POWER
Lights up when the operating voltage (+5V only) is present.
(2)
SYNC
Lights up when ISO/MPEG Decoder is synchronised.
(3)
CONNECT
Lights up when the ETI frame has been synchronised with.
(4)
ALARM
This LED lights up if a fault has occurred in the unit.
(5)
LEVEL
Level indication for the left and right audio channel. These LEDs lights
up when the signal level is greater than -24 dBr below the configured
nominal output level of the decoder.

Operating Keys on the front panel

The three keys on the front panel allows one to select the audio program
which is to be decoded
– #1: Select previous Audio program in the ETI data stream
– #2: Select first Audio program in the ETI data stream
– #3: Select next Audio program in the ETI data stream
Please note, that there is no rotating functionality on these keys.

Replacing the fuse

The mains side is protected by a fuse that is soldered into the power supply
unit. This fuse must only be replaced by service personnel only.
