The Cary 60 has been designed to withstand 10 kg, the approximate weight of a
17 in. LCD monitor.
The workbench should be about 90 cm (36 in) high. Remember to provide space
for the computer, monitor and printer.
To avoid damage through spillage of solutions and samples being analyzed, the
worktops should be covered with a material that is corrosion resistant and
impervious to liquids.
Allow at least two inches of space on both sides, and six inches at the rear of the
system to permit free air circulation. Power cord and all other connections are
located at the rear of the instrument. The Power switch is located on the front
panel.
