5.2. Preparing the mower for transport

To prepare the mower for transport and to meet safety precautions, please do the following:
lift the mower with tractor hydraulic lift until the lower lift pins of the mower 3-point linkage
frame raise about 50 cm above the ground (Fig. 16),
lift support legs S and and block them with cotter pins (Fig. 13),
before putting the mower to transport position block ground following bracket (Fig. 14).
Unblocking the bracket may cause damage to PTO shaft,
if the belt conveyors are lifted, lower them and block them with cotter pins – concerns mowers
equipped with belt conveyors,
lift the cutterbar by hydraulic cylinder vertically until the pawl Z locks in (Pos. 12a),
secure the cutterbar against falling by the shut-off valve (Fig. 15b) placed on the mower's
hydraulic cylinder.
