Specifying fixed voltage output
From the Input & output choice list, press 1, Fix voltage, to select a voltage for the
detector output and auxiliary output.
Requirement:
Set the voltage for both output channels from ±2000 mV in range. The voltage is
driven on the selected channel (Detector Out or Auxiliary Out).

Monitoring contact closures and setting switches
To monitor the contact closures and control switch output:
1.
On the Input & output choice list, press 2, Switch & events, to monitor the eight
contact closure inputs and control the single switch output.
Note:
The Input & output diagnostic function allows real-time monitoring of the
state of the contact closure inputs. A solid (filled in) circle indicates the contact
closure is closed (On = High). An open (empty) circle indicates the contact
closure is open (Off = Low).
2.
For the outputs (SW1), perform these steps:
a.
Press Enter to display the active switch (surrounded by a dotted-line
border).
b.
Press any numerical key to change the status of the switch (from On to Off
or vice versa).

To access the display and keypad diagnostic tests, press DIAG 4.

Test display diagnostic test
To run the test display test:
1.
From the Display & keypad choice list, press 2, Test display.
Result:
to left, and then the Display & keypad choice list appears.If the display does not
completely fill horizontally or vertically, contact your Waters service
representative.
2.
From the Display & keypad choice list, press 3 to return to the diagnostics
choice list.
Both voltages must be fixed, but you can set the values differently.
Switch & Events display screen
When you press 2, the display fills from top to bottom and from right
