The fuel pump used on the Groundsmaster 3200/3300/3310 machines is
attached to the support bracket at the front of the engine. Testing the fuel pump
involves measuring the amount of fuel an unrestricted pump can deliver over a
set period of time.

for this procedure.
1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower the cutting unit (or attachment),
engage the parking brake, set the key switch to the O
the key from the key switch.
2. Ensure that the fuel hoses attached to the fuel pump are free of obstructions.
3. Drain the fuel/water separator; refer to the traction unit Operator's Manual.
Verify separator element age and condition and replace if necessary.
Note: Since the fuel/water separator is upstream of the fuel pump, the
condition of the fuel/water separator will influence fuel pump performance.
4. Disconnect the fuel hose coming from the fuel pump at the fuel filter. Check
the harness connectors for damage or corrosion and clean or repair if
necessary.
