The cutting unit high trim height switch is a normally open proximity switch that
closes when the lift arms are lowered. The switch mounts to a bracket on the
machine frame behind the right front wheel. The sensing element for the high
trim height switch is the sensing plate that is secured to the right side lift arm.
When the lift arm is in the lowered position, the sensing plate will be near the
switch face and the switch will be closed. When the lift arm is raised, the sensing
plate moves away from the position switch face and the switch opens.
With the key switch in the R
height switch should be illuminated when the lift arm is in the lowered position.
Use a small mirror to view the LED if necessary.
The TDM display/controller monitors the position of the high trim height switch.
Using the high trim height switch position (open or closed) and a variety of other
inputs, the TDM display/controller manages a variety of machine functions.
