STARTING AND STOPPING

To Start A Cold Engine:
1. Blower should be on a flat, bare surface for starting.
2. Set the choke knob (C) to the CHOKE position.
3. Slowly press the primer bulb (D) 7-10 times.
4. Pull the starter grip (A) sharply until engine attempts to run. Do not pull the starter grip
more than four (4) times.
5. Set the choke knob (C) to the RUN position.
6. Pull the starter grip (A) sharply until engine runs. Do not pull the starter grip more than
four (4) times.
7. When the engine has started, press and release the throttle trigger (E) a few times and
allow the engine to idle and warm up.
NOTICE: Before starting, make sure blower tubes are installed
completely and correctly into the blower outlet. The unit will not start
correctly without the blower tube installed.
NOTICE: To avoid breaking the starter rope, do not pull the whole
length or let it slide along the edge of the rope guide. Allow the starter
rope to rewind gradually.
