CONNECTING THE POWER CORD

Use a minimum 25' (7.6 m.) long 16 gauge outdoor electri-
cal cord when operating this Blower/Vac. See the table
below for information concerning extension cords.

WARNING: In order to reduce the risk of
electric shock, this Blower/Vac is equipped
with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other), which must be used with a polar-
ized extension cord.
This Blower/Vac's plug will only fit into a polarized exten-
sion cord one way. If the plug does not fit into the exten-
sion cord properly, reverse the plug. If the plug still does
not fit, use the correct type of polarized extension cord.
A polarized extension cord must be used with a polarized
wall outlet. The plug will only fit into a polarized wall outlet
one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet properly,
reverse the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician to install the proper type of outlet. Do
not alter the plug on the Blower/Vac, the receptacle on the
extension cord, or the plug on the extension cord in any
way.
1. Loop the extension cord as shown (Fig. 9).

2. Feed the loop through the cable hodler as shown
(Fig. 10).

Pull the loop in the extension cord over the securing
hook as shown, and pull it tight (Fig. 11).

4. Connect the male end of the Blower/Vac cord to the
female end of the extension cord as shown (Fig. 12).

STARTING/STOPPING INSTRUCTIONS

This Blower/Vac is equipped with a three-way power
switch (OFF/LOW/HIGH) (Fig. 13):
Slide the switch to the (0) position in order to turn the

Blower/Vac OFF .
Slide the switch to the (1) position for LOW speed.

Slide the switch to the (2) position for HIGH speed.
•
Once the Blower/Vac is plugged in, stand in the operating
position (Fig. 14). Slide the power/speed switch to the
LOW or HIGH position in order to start the Blower/Vac. To
stop the Blower/Vac, slide the switch to the OFF position
(Fig. 13).
