Proximal connection
INFORMATION
To ensure an optimum sealed connection to the socket, the following
approach is recommended:
► Drill the distal socket bore with a 6 mm bit.
► Apply PU adhesive inside the bore and insert the included hose piece
(see fig. 2).
► Remove excess adhesive and allow the adhesive to set.
► Trim the hose piece flush on both ends.

Required tools and materials:
710D4 torque wrench, 501Z61=M12x1.5 locking screw, 4X282 TPU
insert (thin) for 5R2 or 4X279 TPU insert (thick) for TEC plate, 4X304 PE
solid rod (PE sinter filter)
1) Screw the locking screw into the lateral connector of the adapter plate
and tighten (mounting torque: 3 Nm) (see fig. 3).
2) Press the PE sinter filter into the TPU insert to the stop (see fig. 4).
3) Slide the TPU insert with the PE sinter filter into the connector on the
proximal side of the adapter plate (see fig. 5).
Lateral connection

Required tools and materials:
710D4 Torque Wrench, 2 mm Allen Wrench, 501Z61=M12x1.5 Locking
Screw, 4X304 PE Solid Rod (PE Sinter Filter), 627F13=7X1 O-Ring,
4X296 Hose Connector
1) Screw the locking screw into the proximal connector of the adapter plate
and tighten (mounting torque: 3 Nm) (see fig. 6).
2) Press the PE sinter filter into the lateral connector of the adapter plate up
to the stop (see fig. 6).
3) Insert the O-Ring into the groove of the hose connector.
4) Use the Allen wrench to screw the hose connector into the lateral con­
nector and tighten (installation torque: 1 Nm) (see fig. 6).
5.1.2 Installing the Adapter Plate
CAUTION
Improper assembly of the screw connections
Risk of injury due to breakage or loosening of the screw connections
► Clean the threads before every installation.
► Apply the specified torque values.
