Reset

This chapter contains information on how to reset elements.
During resetting, the selected elements are reset to the initial state.
Notice!
If the Scope refers to one panel, the list fields This panel and Scope have the same function.

Resetting elements

To reset a detector or logical zone, for example:

Notice!
As long as the elements are still in the process of resetting, no other entries can be made.
If a list field is marked with an R, the process of resetting is not yet complete for this element:
TEXT
If an element cannot be reset, it will continue to be displayed in the list.
After the elements have been reset, the standby display is displayed.
To reset a manual call point, use the reset key or replace the glass window.
To reset an automatic detector: If there is still smoke in the detection chamber please
ventilate.

Event type: Display a list of all message types. The message types can be reset for the
entire Scope.
Scope: Depending on the Scope set in FSP-5000-RPS, the current panel, all panels in a
group or all the panels in the entire network are reset.

This panel: All elements of the panel that are not in standby mode are reset
-> Event type
Logical zone
In the start menu, select Reset
Select the element you require.
Select the detector or zone.
Select the required list fields.
The list fields are marked.
A list of the detectors or zones is displayed.
Select Reset.
The selected elements are reset.
