Operating principle

5.1

Switch on and switch off

Power button
The fire panel must be switched on and off with a power button which is located at the right
side of the panel. Also a reboot of the panel is done via the power button.
Warning!
Don't unplug the panel for restarting it! Always use the power button. Unplugging the running
!
panel can cause a serious damage of the hardware and software.
The functions of the power button are:
Notice!
A confirmation sound is played when the shutdown-sequence is starting. The shutdown is
completed when the "general fault"
up. Wait until the shutdown is completed before you interrupt the power.
Notice!
After having shut down the panel please interrupt the power supply. If a panel was shut down
but is not unplugged, after 10 seconds a warning tone will sound as a reminder.
Warning!
You must only use this way of interrupting the panel if the system does not react anymore or
!
if you are asked to do so in case the panel ran into the safe state.

Press once shortly: Start the panel
Press once shortly at a running panel: Shut down the panel
Press for 8 seconds: Interrupt the panel and reboot it (for example in case of a software
failure).
