In order to mount the gritter drive towards its hitch as near as possible, stop the tractor and
protect it against falling, and then insert the hitch eye on the gritter into hitch eye or bar on the
tractor, and connect them with pin. Then protect the pin against falling with cotter. Finally lift the
gritter's support foot.
NOTE:
The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for gritter's damages
resulting from improper mounting to tractor.
5.2. Controlling gritter
Once the machine is mounted on the tractor, fill it with working medium. Next make sure that
spreading rate adjustment handle (Fig. 5, item A) is not in quick unload position – is pre-tensioned.
Once the above are met, the dosing mechanism can be started using lock at both hubs of drive
wheels (Fig. 5 item B). Rotary speed of the shafts is constant and proportionately dependant of the
driving speed. Spreading rate is adjusted with handle (Fig. 5, item A), as provided on information
decal.
