When driving in reverse, pay particular attention. When machine is turned at
excessive angle, it may be damaged.
5.5. Transport and standstill position of gritter
For the gritter transport turn off drive mechanism of dosing system by removing the lock from
both sides (Fig. 5 item B). For the time the aggregate of tractor and mounted gritter is in standstill,
engage the handbrake on the tractor. Once the work is completed, dismount the gritter from tractor,
empty it, protect against moving and support on a foot.
ATTENTION!
Leaving the machine with full hopper on a support foot may cause the locked
foot to move, leading to falling of the draw-bar.
6. OPERATING SERVICE
Before any operation activity:
make sure that gritter is properly mounted to tractor,
check condition of both rear and front flap, and if necessary, replace with new ones,
check torque of all bolts and nuts according to Tab. 2,
check condition of chain - tightening and wear,
grease bearings (ŁT 43 grease) and lubricate the chain (15W40 mineral oil),
if any torn bolts or damaged parts are found - replace them with new ones.
Upon completion of operation:
empty hopper completely,
clean and wash thoroughly.
