2.6 Faults caused by setup failure

1. The screen does not switch to Radiotelephone Setting Screen and handset can not
be used.
DSC Standby Screen cannot switch to Radiotelephone Setting Screen by pressing [1/RT/2182]
key and the handset of DSC-60 cannot be used., if REMOTE STATION in "System setup" menu is set
at "OFF". Refer to Page 4-16.
2. The scan frequency of DSC watch keeping receiver is fixed to 2187.5 kHz.
WATCH RCVER in "System setup" menu is set at "MF" for MF DSC. Changing this setting to "MF/
HF" enables the registration of up to 6 scan frequencies. Refer to Page 4-14.
3. The radiotelephone scans DSC receiving frequencies with SCAN ON.
If DSC general watch keeping receiver is not installed, the radiotelephone scans DSC general watch
keeping frequencies. Main CPU of DSC-60 automatically detects installation of the receiver board with
INST signal. The system setting is not needed.
4. AUTO ACK does not work.
AUTO ACK function does not work when AUTO ACK is not set at "ON" with [5/ACK/JKL] and
while the handset of DSC-60 is being used (during OFF HOOK).
AUTO ACK SETUP is included in "Setup menu"; COMPLY TYPE, POSITION CALL, and POLL-
ING CALL. Refer to Page 4-7.
5. Automatic printing does not work.
PRINT SETUP is included in "Setup menu". XMITD CALL, RCVD CALL, and DAILY TEST CALL
are set at AUTO or MANUAL, respectively. Refer to Page 4-9.
