3.2 Factory tests ( required test instrument)
To execute these tests, cancel "PROTECTION".
Select test items AF, CONT, PANEL, and PCB, and press [ENT] key. Then, the tests are automatically
and successively executed and the item under test is highlighted. When the test of one item has finished,
its test result is judged and "OK" or "NG" of the item is displayed.
During the test that needs to change the output, the changed output value is displayed, and after the test
has finished, the changed output values are displayed.
1. AF PCB
This is the test of AF board (05P0704). Selecting AF PCB and pressing [ENT] key reveals the follow-
ing screen and the tests automatically proceed. INPUT test requires the test instrument.

The volume control of the external speaker is tested.
The data for controlling the electronic volume U4 (M5207L05) on AF board is varied from 32 to 63
and from 0 to 32 at the intervals of about 100 msec and displayed. The variation of sound volume can
be checked by the signal at AF input line of the external speaker. After the test has finished, the set value
is displayed.
