To access the Phone Book menu, use the L or M arrows to choose Phone
Book from the Setup Menu.
If the M is pressed while the telephone is in standby mode and the date and
number are displayed in the LCD, the first Phone Book entry is shown.
This quick access operation applies to dialing only. If the user has already

Searching Telephone Records

The "phone book" can hold up to 50 records. As a result, navigating through
the telephone records can become time consuming. To avoid lengthy
searches, UIP300 allows users to search the telephone records by entering a
name or the first letter of a name. There are two types of searches: name
search and quick search.

Name Search

This search is typically used when the Dial or Edit features are chosen
from the Phone Book menu. Edit and dial features are chosen by pressing
the Select keys on the Phone Book menu.
To perform a name search:
1. Choose Dial or Edit from the Phone Book Menu by pressing the Select
key. It will go to the name search screen.
If the phone book is empty, user will see the message, "Phone Book is Empty",
for one second.
2. To enter a name using the numeric keys on the keypad.
3. When finished entering the name or character(s), press the Select key.
