Accessing a Line Using the Line Key

Press Line 1 or Line 2 to access the appropriate line. When the line key is
pressed, the LED on the line key turns on indicating the selected line is in
use. If the handset is used, the user hears a dial tone through the handset.
If the handset is in the cradle and the telephone was originally on-hook,
pressing the line key causes the telephone to go off-hook and turns on the
handsfree feature. The user hears dial tone through the telephone speaker.

Volume Control

There are four volume settings:
N Handset
N Headset
N Speakerphone
N Ringer Volume
There are five volume levels for each volume.

Handset Volume Control

To change the volume on the handset:
With the handset off-hook, press L (increase) or M (decrease) to adjust the
volume. The volume of the handset changes as the keys are pressed.
If no activity is detected for one second, the volume setting screen
disappears and returns the LCD to the original display and the volume setting
is saved.

Speakerphone Volume Control

When using speakerphone, the speakerphone volume is adjusted in the
same way that the handset volume is adjusted. Refer to "Handset Volume
Control" on this page.
Note that the speakerphone can only be adjusted if the headset is not
