PROBABLE CAUSE:SOLUTION
A. FRONT DISCS SET TOO SHAL LOW: Lower disc
gangs to get bet ter cut ting ac tion, 5" to 6" deep.
B. SHANKS NOT SPACED COR RECTLY: See shank
place ment Fig ures 2-1 to 2-6. Ad just if nec es sary.
A. SCRAP ERS NOT AD JUSTED COR RECTLY: Ad just
scrap ers to 1/8" to 1/4" clear ance to disc blades. Un der
sticky con di tions, they may work bet ter with 3/4" to 1"
clear ance.
B. SCRAP ERS NOT AS SEM BLED COR RECTLY: Check
as sem bly in struc tions in Chap ter 3.
