USING THE TOOL AS A SCREWDRIVER
• Check that the bit is correctly inserted before using the hammer drill as a screwdriver.
• Make sure not to screw in the screws too hard. This can damage the screw heads or the thread.
Screwing
1.
Set the direction of rotation to clockwise.
2.
Place the bit against the screw head.
3.
Press the bit against the screw with a steady force and screw in the screw.
4.
Hold the hammer drill firmly and release the power switch when the screw has screwed in,
otherwise the screw or screw head can get damaged.
Unscrewing
1.
Set the direction of rotation to anticlockwise.
2.
Place the bit against the screw head.
3.
Press the bit against the screw with a steady force and unscrew the screw.
NOTE: Always remove the battery before doing any work on the power tool.
• The ventilation openings on the power tool at regular intervals.
• Clean the power toolwith a lightly moistened cloth. Wipe dry carefully afterwards. NOTE: Many
detergents contain chemicals that can corrode the plastic parts on the power tool. Never use
petrol, turps, thinner or other similar products.
• Keep tools sharp and clean for better and safer work.
• If a fault or malfunction occurs, have the power tool checked by an authorised service centre.
• Never open the power tool.
STORAGE
• When the power toolis not in use store it in a dry and safe place with a temperature of no more
than 40°C and out of reach of unauthorised persons.
• Do not store the battery and charger in places where the temperature can reach over 40°C, for
example, in a car parked in the sun.
• Do not expose the power tool, charger or battery to moisture.
