Plumbing Connections

after setting up the system, make the plumbing connections as described on the following
pages and in the VERITY® 1910 MS Detector User's Guide and the MiDas™ User's Guide.
Complete instructions for each step are included in the 'installation' chapter.
the flow rates of the PLC Purification Systems are too high for microspray operation with
the Verity 1910 mS Detector. the analysis of samples with a PLC Purification System can
therefore only be carried out using a split flow interface (Sfi) set up with the correct split
ratio.
the outlet from the column is directed to the splitter module in the miDas, where the fluid
stream is split between the integrated uV detector and the Verity 1910 mS Detector.
refer to the diagrams below and the table that follows when making front panel plumbing
connections.
