6.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und Anweisungen in diesem
Dokument verwendet wird. Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbeson-

Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie 93/42/EWG für Medizinpro-
dukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien nach Anhang IX dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt
in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb vom Hersteller in alleiniger
Verantwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1 Indications for use
The Derma Seal Trans Ped 453D2 is to be exclusively used for the prosthetic fitting of amputa-
tions of the lower limb.
2 Indication
For partial foot amputee according to Lisfranc and Chopart.
3 Description
The Derma Seal Trans Ped is a stump sock of highly expandable Lycra®-spandex fabric.
This seamlessly knitted stump sock offers fit without wrinkles to the foot stump. The distal area
inside the sock is provided with a polymer gel layer.
The polymer gel is extruded with a medical mineral oil, which has a beneficial effect on the skin.
During wearing the oil will slowly diffuse from the gel and thus keep the skin smooth.
Due to the viscous nature of the gel, disturbing friction, pressure and weight bearing are reduced.
