USB Playback
1 Turn on your computer.
Wait until the OS is running normally.
2 Turn on the unit.
3 Press AUX/USB on the unit (press FUNCTION on the remote
control repeatedly) to display "USB".
4 Operate your computer to play back audio data stored in it.
5 Adjust the volume level with VOLUME on the unit.
If sound is not generated, check the settings of
"Audio" property in your computer by following the
procedures below.
1 Select "Settings" from "Start" menu, and click "Control
Panel".
2 Double-click "Sounds and Multimedia Properties" or
"Multimedia Properties" icon in "Control Panel" window.
3 Click "Audio" tab in "Sounds and Multimedia Properties"
or "Multimedia Properties" window.
4 Check "USB Audio Device" is selected in "Preferred device "
of "Sound Playback" item. If not, select it.
5 If there is "Volume" item, click it and check its level.
To adjust the volume, do it in this item or with the audio
playback application software installed in your computer.
•The screens above are one of the samples of Windows
Millennium Edition.
NOTES
•Do not turn off the unit or change the function during
playback with the USB terminal. Otherwise, it may be a cause
of problems.
•Do not disconnect the USB cable when it is in operation.
You can disconnect it only after quitting the audio playback
application software on your computer
•Be sure to quit the audio playback application software on
your computer before turning off the unit or your computer.
•We recommend that you turn off the unit first and then off
your computer secondly when turning off the two devices.
•Disconnect the USB cable after turning off the two devices.
•We recommend that you turn off the unit before your
computer goes into pause or sleep state.
•Depending on your computer environments, there is a case
where sound may be interrupted or noise may be generated.
•See the manuals attached to your computer and the audio
playback application software, also.
•If some problem occurs in your computer, restart it.
