• A battery can present a risk of electric shock and high short-circuit current. The following
precautions should be observed before replacement of batteries:
1. Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects.
2. Use tools with insulating handles.
3. Wear insulating gloves and boots.
4. Do not lay tools or metal parts on the top of batteries.
5. Disconnect the charging source prior to connecting or disconnecting the battery
terminals.
• You must contact Delta customer service if any of the following events occurs:
1. Any liquid is poured or splashed on the UPS.
2. The UPS is deformed.
3. Any conductive powders or metals enter into the UPS.
4. The UPS does not run normally after you carefully followed the instructions in this
User Manual.

Storage Warnings

• Use the original packing materials to pack the UPS to prevent any possible damage from
rodents.
• If the UPS needs to be stored prior to installation, it should be placed in a dry indoor
area. The allowable storage temperature is below 70°C (158°F) and relative humidity is
below 95%.
