DHCP Address
The DHCP Address Pool is based on the X5v or V3's
Pool Selection
LAN IP address plus 12 IP addresses. For example, if
you are using the default LAN IP address of 10.0.0.2, the
DHCP Address Pool would be 10.0.0.4–10.0.0.15. The
default is System Allocated. A pool of 253 (maximum)
user-defined addresses is optional.
User Defined
Starting address of LAN IP address pool.
Start Address
User Defined
Ending address of LAN IP address pool.
End Address
Lease Time
Amount of time that the X5v or V3 leases an IP address
to a computer on your network. Measured in
days/hours/minutes/seconds. The default is 1 day: After
24 hours, the lease expires if not renewed.
User Mode
The default is Multi-User.
Ethernet Mode
Click this option to open the Ethernet Mode Settings
Setting
page (see below).
Ethernet Mode Settings
To access this page, select Ethernet Mode Setting on the LAN
Configuration page (see above).
To specify the data transmission mode, open the Ethernet Mode
list box.

Explanation
Ethernet Mode
Select one of these options:
AutoSense: The X5v or V3 automatically senses the
transmission mode of the linked device.
100 Full: Data is transmitted at 100 mbps in full duplex
mode (data is sent and received simultaneously, as in a
standard telephone conversation.)
100 Half: Data is transmitted at 100 mbps in half duplex
mode (data is sent one way at a time, as in a walkie-
talkie).
10 Full: Data is transmitted at 10 mbps in full duplex
