3.1.2 Installation preparation for laminated sockets
The enclosed vacuum forming dummy provides for that the lower screw
ring is flush with the inner side of the socket.
• Pull 99B25 Nylon Stockinette over the plaster positive.
• Secure the vacuum forming dummy to the plaster positive with the en-
closed 503S3 Screw (Fig.2).
• Pull 99B81 PVA Bag over the plaster positive and reinforce the laminated
socket adequately.
3.1.2.1 Completion of a laminated socket without flexible inner socket
• After laminating the lamination resin socket, grind away the material
covering the vacuum forming dummy until it is flush.
• Remove the 503S3 Screw and vacuum forming dummy.
• Disassemble the valve and either apply 617H46 Bonding Agent to the
contact surface of the lower screw ring (Fig. 4) or place the included
O-ring (11) in this position. Position the lower screw ring in the socket
(Fig. 5). Place the ring of the safety shackle on the lower screw ring.
• Tighten the upper screw ring. The pin wrench can be used for tightening
the upper screw ring (Fig. 6).
• Affix the upper part of the safety shackle to the upper part of the valve.
This will prevent that the upper part of the valve can get lost.
• The lamination dummy is not needed here.
3.2 Instructions for use
INFORMATION
Silicone spray can be applied to the rubber sealing ring to make it easier
to insert the upper part of the valve into the base part.
Place the ClickValve upper part into the valve's base part by simply press-
ing. An audible feedback is emitted when the valve upper part has been
pressed in properly. To remove the upper part of the valve, press the air
release button, then press together the two lateral gripping surfaces with
the thumb and index finger and pull the upper part of the valve out of the
base part.
