To mount the hybrid trainer in the elliptical mode, hold
the handlebars (F) or the upper body arms (G) and
step onto the pedal (H) that is in the lower position.
Then, step onto the other pedal.
Push the pedais (H) until they begin to move with a
continuous motion.
Note: The crank arms
(1)
can
turn in either direction. lt is recommended that you
move the crank arms in the direction shown by the
arrow; however, for variety, you can turn the crank
arms in the opposite direction.
To dismount the hybrid trainer, wait until the pedais (H)
come to a complete stop.
Note: The hybrid trainer
does not have a free wheel; the pedais will con-
tinue to move until the flywheel stops.
When the
pedais are stationary, step off the higher pedal first.
Then, step off the lower pedal.

HOW TO USE THE RECUMBENT BIKE MODE
To use the hybrid
trainer as a recum-
bent bike, loosen
the pivot knob
(D)
and rotate the pivot
bracket to the low
position.
Next, lift a pedal, unfold the brace (E), and
insert
the
end of the brace into the pedal arm (J).
Make sure
that the brace is securely inserted into the pedal
arm. Repeat this action for the other pedal.
Then, adjust the
seat forward or
backward to the
position that
is
the
most
comfortable.
To adjust the seat,
loosen the carriage
knob (K) and pull
it
outward, slide the
seat to the desired
position, and then
release the car-
riage knob into an adjustment hole on the trame.
Make
sure that the carriage knob is securely inserted
into an adjustment hole.
Then, tighten the carriage
knob.
