Broadband Port - PPPoE

The necessary data for your PPPoE connection comes from your ISP.
Buttons:
The Save button saves any data entered on screen. The Cancel button
cancels data entered since the last save.
Account/User Name ......................... The name of your Internet account provided
by your ISP. Some ISPs work with the entire account name along with the hosting
domain (such as yourname@yourdomain.com) and others require that you enter
only the account name (yourname).
Password.......................................... Enter the password for your Internet
account.
Verify Password ............................... Re-enter the password.
IP Address provided by ISP .............. Normally, this is Dynamic; use this setting if
your ISP's documentation does not mention an IP Address. If your ISP did provide
an IP Address, select Fixed and enter the address into the provided field.
Idle Time-out .................................... If a connection is inactive for longer than
this time period, it will be terminated. You can increase the amount of time before
you are disconnected from the Internet by increasing this value. Set the value to
zero to disable time-out completely.
Connect on Demand ......................... Normally, this should be enabled. This
setting allows a connection to the Internet to be established when needed, such
as when a web browser is started on a computer. If this is unchecked, you must
use the Connect button on the Broadband Status page of the of the web utility
(see "Broadband Status - PPPoE" on page 32) each time you want to connect to
the Internet.
