Parts of the EPROM, for example, those which contain the power-on
self-tests and the basic input/output system, are copied into the faster DRAM
(shadow memory).
System Shadow always indicates "Enabled" since the system BIOS is always
copied into the faster RAM.

The BIOS expansion for display outputs is copied into the
enabled

The Video Shadow setting is only effective if an external VGA interface
module is used.
