Ethernet

1. Check the Config tab to see if the IP address matches that of Christie ACT. Refer to
Configuring Christie ACT.
2. Make sure the Ethernet settings are valid for your site. All network devices should have the same subnet
mask and unique IP addresses.
3. Ensure Christie ACT is connected to the network when changing its IP address. Refer to
Installation and Setup.
4. If you still have trouble establishing communications with Christie ACT, contact your network administra-
tor.

Input or Relays are Not Functioning

This problem can occur if the terminal blocks have been removed and then replaced. Check the
terminal block connections to ensure that they are properly installed. The terminal blocks are factory
installed. If you replaced a terminal block, ensure the Input and Relay connectors are fully inserted
into the mating header located on the back panel of Christie ACT.

5.3.1 Terminal Block Installation

1. Ensure the terminal block is parallel to the mating header (Figure 5-1).
2. Maintain orientation while inserting the terminal block into the header (Figure 5-2). NOTE: Do not insert
the terminal block at an extreme angle. This will damage the header causing the pins to be pushed back
into the header.
3. Continue to push the terminal block until it is fully seated in the header (Figure 5-3). NOTE: Do not rock
the terminal block from side to side while inserting it into the header.
