2.4.9 Serial Port In/Out
There are 4 serial ports: RS232 IN (female port), RS232 OUT (male port), RS232 OUT (AUDIO) (male port)
and RS422 (female port). NOTE: Male and female port locations identified in Figure 2-14.

RS232
The RS232 port is used to receive serial cues or send serial commands for cues. The RS232 has options for
which protocol to use. Refer to
incoming signals and RS232 OUT is used by Device Libraries which primarily require outgoing signals,
however all of the Christie ACT serial ports are bi-directional. NOTE: Hardware handshaking is not available.
